Research interests: My research interests revolve largely around the impacts invasive species have in different ecosystems. This includes exploring integrated pest management (IPM) methods such as biological control. My current research project aims to determine the susceptibility of different Wisconsin tart cherry cultivars to Drosophila suzukii (spotted-wing drosophila, SWD) through lab assays, as well as identify potential SWD parasitoids native to this region through field studies.
Personal Interests: I am passionate about the outdoors and outdoor activities including camping, hiking, skiing, and fishing. I also love sports and enjoy playing baseball, football, tennis, and badminton among others. I try to alleviate stress through painting and exercise.
