Position: Extension Associate

Education: M.S. in Entomology University of Wisconsin-Madison, WI (2015), adviser Shawn Steffan.

Research Interests: I love the idea of studying integrated pest control, to lead to more sustainable fruit production. I am especially excited about conservation and augmentation biological control. Currently, as an extension associate at the University of Wisconsin, I am updating the Fruit Team website, putting together a bi-weekly Fruit Team Newsletter, giving presentations to grower and researcher groups, and helping with research projects in the fruit extension labs.

Personal Interests: I enjoy most outdoor activities, including tending my community garden plot, running, playing soccer, and hiking or camping in the Wisconsin countryside. I also volunteer with Dogs on Call, bringing my dog in to area hospitals and schools, to increase joy and reduce stress.
